The Stewards completed their final work obligation for our Yamaha grant last Wednesday. We worked with the FS district OHV crew to remove the old bulletin board and assemble and install a new double metal bulletin board. The new board was installed at Iron Telephone Staging site. Yamaha shared in the purchase cost of the new bulletin board.
Listed below are the Stewards accomplishments this year with the support of our 2026 Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative grant.
Cleared 111 miles of forest roads.
Cleared 10 miles of motorized trails.
Installed or repaired 149 route markers.
Cut and removed 441 trees from the travel way.
Cleaned 4 culverts.
Removed 5 rocks from the travel way.
Installed one double metal bulletin board.
Contributed 2,086 hours of labor equivalent to $60,494.00 to the forest.
